Deco style parure from the rarely seen Albion Jewelers of Chicago, IL. There is almost no information about this company but what there is out there says they started in 1955. I question that due to the style of this set and the lack of a © symbol with their mark. The rhodium plated choker style necklace, link bracelet and dangle clip earrings all contain emerald cut aquamarine rhinestones & round crystal rhinestones. The necklace has a kind of J hook, but it is different from any I have ever seen. The bracelet has a fold over clasp and the earrings have very early clips. There is one dead stone in the necklace and there are some slightly yellowing stones scattered through out the set but nothing that affects the wearability of this parure as is. If not for this, condition would have been listed as excellent. This parure would be perfect for the bride who wants to add just a hint of color on her wedding day.

This gold tone necklace is very long and contains links (3/4" across) set with different imitation (?) agate cabs set in open backs. The agate heart pendant is not original to the necklace and I believe it is genuine agate. The closure is a barrel clasp.

I believe this flower is some type of lily. The majority of the flower is a kind of burnished pale gold tone textured finish and each petal is lined in a raised, shiny gold tone finish.

Owl with an attitude! He is perched on a limb with a look that says "I'm all that". His belly is a dark topaz cabochon and his eyes are smaller round cabs in the same color. The top of his head has 3 rows of rhinestones along with a cinnamon color enamel, which is also on his wings. Around his eyes and up into the inner part of his ears the enameling is a frosted olive green. His tail feathers also have rhinestones. There is some minor enamel wear on the front edges of his wings that shows in the picture and it appears that some foil is missing from the large cabochon. Aside from that he is in great condition.

A translucent pink navette cabochon represents that shine you see on real apples that have been waxed and shined to make them more appealing. Lite weight floral clip earrings with a large, lavender, plastic cab center. Around the cab are flowers of tiny purple beads with an a/b chaton center. Those tiny flowers are repeated on the outer edge, alternating with lavender molded plastic leaves. I know for fact that these earrings have never been worn, but there is something that looks like black paint in the indention of a swirl on the back. If not for this, the condition would be excellent.

This fabulous runway set is done in gold tone with emerald green marbled lucite cabechons and beads. Each bead is sandwiched between either clear rhinestones rhondelles or lacy gold tone caps. In addition to the lucite beads there are also two rhinestone balls and two satin finish gold tone beads. The centerpiece of this necklace is a whopping 7.5 inches long! The earrings are clips. This fur clip must have come along towards the end of the popularity of fur clips since it is clearly a mid to late 50's piece. The layers of ridged gold tone feathers are each topped with both emerald colored and crystal rhinestones. This gold tone pansy unfortunately has some finish wear on the edges of some petals but is still very wearable as you have to look closely to notice. I was amazed when I turned this pin over and saw the mark because the quality is much better than most BSK jewelry I've seen over the years. The petals of this flower have enameling that is shaded from yellow to a beige color. The domed center has pavé set rose colored rhinestones. The stem has a pale green enamel. Other than some small flea bites to the edges of the petals, this pin is in excellent condition and nicely made.

This crystal rhinestone and faux pearl bracelet has the classic look of diamonds and pearls. Two rows of faux pearls are bordered and separated by rows of sparkling crystal rhinestones. The faux pearls are set higher than the rhinestones so that they are not overwhelmed by sparkle. The bracelet is rhodium plated with a push in clasp and a safety chain. The is a spot of plating loss on the back of the tongue of the clasp, otherwise condition would be listed as excellent.

I believe these navette cabs are the black diamond color, but being set at an angle so that they form an upside down "v" shape, they look almost a blue/grey. At the point of the "v" are silver tone tabs bent over in alternating directions. On each end are set two black rhinestone chatons and there are also two chatons set on top of the push in clasp. Safety chain is intact. If you are a lady with a larger wrist and have trouble finding vintage bracelets to wear, this bracelet is for you. It is a full 8 inches long!

A gold tone cart pulled by a bird????? I can only guess what the designer was taking when this concept came about. The cart is decorated with crystal rhinestones and filled with two rows of wired in pieces of art glass with colored coating on them. The coating has come off of several leaving them as clear art glass. This does not detract from the piece at all. I'm not sure what the art glass is supposed to represent because of their odd shape.

As with much of the jewelry that Ciner made, you really have to look to make sure that these are not fine jewelry. The imitation pearl cabs and the pavé set crystal rhinestones really look like diamonds and pearls next to the jet black enameling. There appears to be an over-run on the enameling on the bottom of one earring that looks as though it was a production error, not a touch-up.

Made by the Gem Craft company who also made jewelry for such designers as Kenneth J. Lane and Kramer, to name a couple. This necklace uses large rectangular black stones as the centerpiece of the pendant, accented with crystal rhinestones. The circles are textured to resemble mesh. The double link chain has a matte gold tone finish that reminds me of many DeNicola pieces I've had.
Length: 18 in. Pendant portion is 2 3/8 in. x 2 3/4 in. Condition: very good
