The large emerald cut stones in this set are known in the trade as "Effect stones". These would be considered Vitreal Dark, which combines the darker blues, greens and purples. Above, below and on either side of the central stone are large aurora borealis chatons. Set between the smaller effect stones are clusters that each contain two unfoiled emerald colored navettes and an unfoiled pear shape in Montana blue. There are matching clip earrings. All stones are prong set in silver tone. Minor wear to the back and some minor scratching on the two largest aurora borealis stones in the brooch. Not for the shy....this fabulous set is a very large!
