This very feminine pin features a large, oval, faceted purple stone that looks like an amethyst but I am assuming it is glass. It is set in brass using the elements of the design to secure the stone rather than plain prongs. I has an Art Nouveau flair and may be of that era. It has the early style safety clasp and it appears that it is not original.
