Victorian era Scottish thistle pin with a large oval amethyst. It is marked on the back Scotland with hallmarks appropriate for the era and a maker's mark that looks like RA inside a depressed oval. The original "C" clasp has been replaced with a safety clasp, otherwise in all original condition.
Diameter: 1 7/8 in. Condition: very good
