The elaborate hair work in this Victorian era mourning brooch is just beautiful. The ornate frame tests as gold, but as with all Victorian jewelry, it is not marked. It has a fine chain attaching it to a security pin with a gold ball top. The condition is excellent considering it is well over 100 years old.
