This floral is just soooo feminine. Though it is marked Pat.Pend., the patent, number 145325, was granted to Alfred Philippe on July 30, 1946, which leads me to the conclusion that this pin was made before that date. While the three leaves are gold washed, with only slight wear, the stems holding the crystal rhinestone flowers were left silver which gives a nice contrast. Two of the leaves have crystal rhinestones set in their upturned edges.
