Lovely estate opal and diamond ring set in yellow gold. I don't know the carat weight of the opal but it is 5/16 inch long by just over 3/16 inch wide. The diamonds surrounding the opal are not uniform in size. This leads me to believe that this ring was made from another piece of heirloom jewelry to more suit the former owner. There are 8 diamonds ranging from .01 to approximately .035 carat with a total diamond carat weight of between .10 and .15 carat. There are no chips or cracks in the opal. Currently size 7 1/2 but can be sized up or down. Dimensions below refer to top of ring.
